Error on Retina Macbook Pro

Getting an erro installing a game on the Retina Macbook Pro - any one know what causes this?
In a popup window labeled "Microsoft xAudio2" The message reads "CPU does not meet miniumum requirements. Streaming SIMD extensions support required."
OS - Lion
Crossover initial - 11.1, now 11.2.

I got the same error during installation of DirectX on the mid 2012 MBA.
