Microsoft Word 2010 will not open documents in Crossover 11

Today I installed the latest version of Crossover (Version 11.0 (11.0.0.25949)) and installed Office Professional Plus 2010 with SP1. I can create a new document and save it, but I am unable to open existing documents. This is not the case for Excel; I can open documents in Excel.

I do not get any error messages or any indication that something went wrong--just nothing happens when I click Open after selecting the Word document.

Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a workaround?

My setup is a 2012 Macbook Pro i7 2.2GHz with 16GB of RAM running OSX 10.7.3.

Thanks!

Mark

I was able to create a new document, add an image to it, save it to my mac desktop, close the document, and then open it from the "Recent" list. However, I still cannot open existing documents using the normal Open method.

I have the same problem under Linux. I can store a file, but I cannot open a file, neither from the open-dialog or with a doubleklick on the file name.

Same here. I'm looking for solutions. I found one solution that said it was because of lack of file associations but I did that and it still doesn't work.
