CrossOver XI - Multiple versions of Internet Explorer?

Greetings,

Can I install and run multiple versions of Internet Explorer in CrossOver XI?

Thank you in advance for your response!
Bill

Sure, this should not be a problem. It's probably best to install each version in a separate bottle. For example, you can have a bottle with Internet Explorer 6 installed and a different one with Internet Explorer 7.

Thanks for the reply!

Fantastic, I will like to use CrossOver XI to test web pages on different browsers.

  1. Does CrossOver XI work with OSX Snow leopard or Lion?

  2. Also, CrossOver XI is not a subscription base app, is it? Do I have to pay for anything else, other than CrossOver XI ?

Cheers!

CrossOver is a great solution for that. I would make sure there are no rendering issues when you are testing the trial.

Hi, yes CrossOver XI is supported for both Snow Leopard and Lion. I have used it on both, but primarily on Lion.

Not quite, from what I understand, you pay for the version you buy with 12 months of upgrades. After that period, you need to renew the subscription to get further upgrades, however you continue to have access to the versions that you previously had access to.

This is my understanding, but it would be best to e-mail support and get the official answer, they would be able to help you with any further questions or concerns about the license.
