Our apologies for the inconvenience but they are not yet available and are still in development.
There isn't one, yet. The developer preview of OS X 10.8 only became available a few days ago, we haven't had the time necessary to develop a new spin of Crossover to meet its needs.
We'll certainly have a Mountain Lion-compatible version of Crossover by the time it's fully released this summer, but it will still be many weeks from now.
We installed Lion on one of our MacBook Pros running Crossover (with latest updates) and each time we open Crossover, it shuts down all of our Bottles. However, if you click Cancel on the window showing "Shutting Down" immediately after it opens, you can run your bottles without any issues.
Do you expect a solution to this issue anytime soon. Sorry, but we are not worried about Games, only the Crossover for Mac.
Appreciate any input you can provide.
Sorry, of course we meant Mountain Lion, not Lion.
If you need any Beta testers for CrossOver for Mountain Lion, I'm happy to help...
Thanks for the offer. We will likely not need beta testers for Crossover compatibility in Moutain Lion - it's mainly a manner of freeing up enough developer "bandwidth" to thoroughly dissect and fix any compatiblity issues, and with the push to release Crossover 11 all of our bandwidth is otherwise spoken for. Should we decide that beta testers are needed, after all, we'll certainly ask.
Compatibility will probably come shortly after release, if you're having problems with Crossovers under Mountain Lion then it's probably best to just switch back to your main OS (hoping that you're dual booting and not using ML as your primary) for now.
Hopefully Mountain Lion compatibility won't bee too time consuming- Lion was a pretty big change from Snow Leopard, but 10.8 seems more life a service pack than anything 😐
Whereas everything worked nicely on Lion and on the first Mountain Lion Preview release, I found that after installing that Mountain Lion Preview 2 Crossover now refuses to create Bottles.
Every attempt on any application ends with something like this in the debug log.
setup:error: 'rundll32 DefaultInstall crossover.inf' failed
setup:error: 'rundll32 DefaultInstall crossover.inf' failed
-> rc=256 (took 0.789252996444702 seconds)
cxbottle:error: unable to create the 'Fallout 2' bottle in '/Users/davidnielsen/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles/Fallout 2'
