How to Run .exe files from bootcamp

hello everyone. im new to crossover. i want to know how can i run .exe files from my Bootcamp Drive, and not using a installer like what crossover wants. is there any way that i can run my .exe files on my bootcamp? please.

1st: If you already installed windows under bootcamp, then you should know that you can run .exe files when you are "running windows." (restart your mac and press "alt/option" until you see driver selection and pick windows)

2nd: If you are running OS X and wants to access an .exe file & have crossover installed on your OS X, then crossover is suppose to run/install that .exe for you. Which may or may not work, please look under "what runs?" in menu bar of this website.

3rd: You are unable to run any .exe under OS X directly or natively... unless you install apps like crossover, vmware fusion, or parallel, etc.

In addition, if you are asking if you can run .exe "from" your bootcamp drive (which is windows folder) under OS X, then the answer is... look at "3rd" suggestion above:

Running any "installed" .exe softwares directly within OS X, you'll need either vmware fusion or parallel because crossover will require you to "reinstall" that .exe software in order to execute the file under OS X partition. Using crossover to run from windows partition is a lot of work and will relate to NTFS drive. Besides, it is not likely for crossover to write any files under your bootcamp windows partition.

To simply put, just use vmware fusion or parallel to execute your already installed windows software under OS X.

for more info on bootcamp, vmware fusion or parallel, just use google.
