I use a windows game called Tetris. This is an early 1990s (Win 3.X) software. It has no instal file, just an exe and a dll to go with it (and the ini and hlp files - although these are created new if they don't exist). How do I install this on crossover for Mac? When I install, it just runs the program but does not create the usual 'program' file etc. So, every time I run the exe, crossover wants to install the program. Hope I am explaining the issue. Please help!
Yes just run your application using the Run Windows Application option in the Crossover menu. Look for your application and before running it check the option to create a launcher. Then an icon will br created for it
If you send us the application information we can create an entry in our application database and create a crosstie to.properly install it
The application is : Tetris for windows, by Microsoft, 1990. Love the game. Works on Win3.X+, but only on 32bit. Fails on 64bit Win7. :(
Do you need any other information?
Please let me know if you do create a crosstie.
