CrossOver Support - Community Forums

I am using Macbook Air 2012, 13", 1440x900, Intel HD 4000, OS X 10.8.2.
CrossOver 11.3.1.26306, Caesar III from GOG.com, it doesn't work for me. The display is just a mess.
And I am not sure how to use an emulated virtual desktop as temporary solution.

Esc key could work, and the "quit" dialog displayed ok.

I tried to set following cases in Wine Configuration->Graphics,

1. uncheck "emulate a virtual desktop"
2. check "emulate a virtual desktop", 1024x768
3. check "emulate a virtual desktop", 800x600

Same results.

What should I do now?

For "The display is just a mess",

I mean display is garbled.

A fresh install,

not only remove /Applications/CrossOver.app and ~/Applications
also ~/Library/Preferences/com.codeweavers.CrossOver* and ~/Library/Application Support/CrossOver

Then install CrossOver again, and my Caesar III(Win98 bottle).

And Configure->Manage Bottles, select "setup_caesar_3.exe" in left, and choose "Control Panel" in right, choose "Wine Configuration", and click "Launch Selected Item"

In "Graphics" tab, check "Emulate a virtual desktop", Desktop size could be 800x600 and 1024x768, but for 1024x768, you should also enter game to set in Options->Display Settings.
