Last night my Star Trek Online stopped working (it got to launcher then just kept saying patching) so I uninstalled and reinstalled it and went to bed. When I got up and went to run it it froze in the loading screen so I had to turn off my computer then I went to run it again after I booted my computer back up . STO showed up in my dock and the little light appeared beside like normal (no windows opened but at this point they might just be starting to load anyway) but after a few seconds it disappeared. Right now it is not working at all. I am running the demo it said it was updated to 11.2.2 please help and thank you.
The first time you see the "loading..." screen, on your initial launch of the program, it will appear frozen, but really it just takes an insanely long time to load. My computers are pretty well-equipped and I have a great internet connection, and on my initial launch of a STO install it still gives me the "loading..." screen for 10+ minutes. If you're trying to launch the program and it's just failing, now, I'd try deleting the bottle and starting over with a fresh install.
