Print options not available with programs running under CrossOver?

Just installed CrossOver and a windows printing software, Qimage. Apparently, I won't be able to access all the print driver options under CrossOver as I have under the Mac environment? I can print, but I have not options to turn color management off, selecting custom paper sizes, etc, etc Any work arounds?

Ken

The printer controls in a windows program running through Crossover are much less full-featured than they would be in Windows because the program expects to interact with Windows print drivers, and Crossover is passing a rough translation of the Mac's print driver to the program's print controls. Most programs I've seen still allow you to choose from the plethora of available paper sizes, but color management is typically absent.

A common workaround for more printer control is to use "CUPS-PDF" to print documents to PDF, first, and then print those PDF's from Preview in Mac for a better range of options. Installation/usage instructions for CUPS-PDF can be found, here:

I prefer to use "CUPS-PDF" for printing anyway, because I like to keep a copy of my files anyway.

Specifically, I have made several versions of "CUPS-PDF" with different page formats, since I also need to print large format pages of drawings, and it makes it much easier than to change it every time.

Although I have not experienced any printing limitations in the programs I use CrossOver for, mainly Autocadd.
