I'm using Crossover 10, long story but I downloaded a trial version of VWware Fusion. The same night, the only game I use Crossover for stopped working. Crossover just hangs now when I try and load the game. Nothing has changed in the game or in crossover. Six hours later I get an email saying that my support to Crossover has expired, so typically, I can't now request support where if I had done it immediately I could have.
What might have happened? Would installing VMware Fusion have caused problems in Crossover? Has my (paid) version stopped working because the support has run out?
I can't think what to do to get it working again.
I did try, as a workaround, to install this game (Ultima Online) in VMware, but I can only run the classic version of the game, not the enhanced client. Perhaps VMware uses memory resources or files that clash with Crossover? Or am I barking up the wrong tree and are they wholly independent of each other?
I doubt that anybody in the community will help you talking in the ironically way you are talking calling Codeweavers cheaters with a strange code inside crossover that will stop working when the support expires.
Not intended to suggest that Codeweavers are cheaters (apologies if that's the impression taken), just that it's stopped working and the only two things that sprung to mind were that (i) I have tried using vmware and (ii) I got an email from Codeweavers a few hours later saying my support had stopped. It's like the washing machine breaking down just after the guarantee expires - not blaming anyone, it's just that it's sods law that things break just when the support runs out.
Might be the OS update? Hadn't thought of that. I didn't link that to Crossover but its a possibility - I can't remember if I have tried the game since then.
Log file is here - though running the file this way doesn't seem to even launch the game, so I'm not sure how useful it will be...

...if you are using macos 10.7.5/10.8.2 you need crossover 11.2.2 ...
Thank you. I can't check for a few days but on the basis it will fix
it, thank you for your help!

Your support expired on October 1. We would certainly not hold that against you, we hate having the washing machine break after the warranty is expired too.
When you check it out, if CrossOver is still not working to your expectations, drop us a line at ninjas@codeweavers.com and we'll help you out. No worries.
The washing machine is working again! Thanks all for help.
Really great group of people here.
