Hi,
I am currently playng with Crossover for Mac and testing office 2010 sp1 on it and are having a couple of issues.
1) cannot open office attachments from within email. (i know this is a known issue that is going to be fixed but is there any time scales)
2) when i try to use the send using email in word or excel the program crashes. (is this related to the above issue)
3) we have our mac added on to our corporate domain. however when i launch outlook it prompts for the username and password. does NTLM work within the crossover application.
These are all known bugs that, regrettably, don't have very firm timelines for a fix at present. We know about them and are working on them, but as of yet none of them are at a "definitely will be fixed by ____ release" stage.
Items 1 and 2 actually aren't related, from a technical standpoint, though they seem similar. The workarounds are, of course, (1) to save your attachment, first, before opening, and (2) to attach files to a pre-existing email message from within outlook.
For item 3, if you're using NTLM for Logon Network Security, you'll be prompted for the password (even if it's set to be saved and thus not demand logon credentials). You should still be able to logon.
