From what I have been told the 64bit installers for Project 2010 should work for CrossOver 11.2.2 and yet I have had no success so far. Any thoughts (other than use the 32bit installer) ?

64-bit installers for MS office products (or any windows app) won't work in Crossover because it is a 32-bit application. You'll need to use the 32-bit installer.
Any forecast on CrossOver becoming a 64bit app?
It'll be a while, yet. We have no plans for 64-bit support in any upcoming releases.
