I have a Mid-2007 aluminum iMac running 10.7.4. Since installing CrossOver 11.2, I seem to be having problems with just about any game I have installed re: full-screen mode. I get a "scan-line" effect with the video even when starting the games, so no 3D engine is in use yet. I mostly buy my games from GOG.com, and just this week I tried running Tropico Reloaded, Dungeon Keeper 2, and (tonight) Baldur's Gate II. The only way the apps are useable is if I kick into emulated desktop in a window.
WRT BGII, I tried running the config program to set up the difficulty and video resolution. If I make ANY change to the video settings (enabling 3D, changing resolution, etc.) the program wants to run a check of the video settings before permanently applying. This is normal, and happens on my Win7 PC (dual Xeon workstation with nVidia 9800 video card). However, in CrossOver, the test starts, I get a screen with three blocks of color filling the screen (emulated to 1440x900 and 1024x768), then the settings screen returns, but you can't do anything. It's basically locked up at this point.
I've re-installed the app, tried both Win98 and WinXP emulation in the bottle config, no luck.

I had that too but the changes were done anyway so I just accepted that the setup is flaky in that regard.
cheers

Hi there , i have exact the same problems with my iMac (mid 2011 - with Lion or Mountain Lion). It started with the change from Crossover Games to Crossover "united"
Diablo2 for eg. / Baldurs Gate without any problems. None game i tried is running with Crossover anymore. .
Since then only crashes , and if a program starts FLICKERING with 400 FPS :( - or a corrupted screen that holds two two different frames alternating. So even with Crossover version 11.3.1 - same, its useless.
Have no idea anymore , i hoped that time will bring a solution, but no.
Can you describe your problem again? Quite often something looks similar but isn't.
I just started up BG II (GOG version) again for the first time since switching to CrossOver and it runs as it did in CrossOver Games (atm MacPro3,1, 10.8.2, CrossOver 11.2.2; when I played BG II a lot it was the same MacPro with Snow Leopard running CrossOver Games).
The configuration programm has always made problems for me but I didn't worry too much because the changes were applied anyway.
In my case every programm that was former migrated from crossover games to crossover was not running in fullscreen any more. There was just massive flickering and tearing with high frame rates.
I installed these programs new to crossover with the same problems. Then i put everything way for a few months and started again now with the newest version 11.3.1
Baldurs gate (GOG version) now installed runs in fullscreen with a complete dark screen, you can hear the music and stuff in the background. Refreshing the screen etc. results in a complete messed up screen. You can quit safely with cmd+Q.
I will try a few other games.
Maybe its still a problem with my machine ...
