Disk memory space decrease

EDIT: Over the past few months I was obligated to reinstall 2-3 times Crossover because almost every time there's a Steam update it made the bottle not work. Reinstalling solved that, but I notice a bizarre phenomena of my disk space getting smaller and smaller each time. I thought deleting crossover didn't really removed the game files from the disk, even after using the "crossover removal tool" and following manually to find the files. However, I now notice more posts about memory space decrease in other forums that connects that to 'system data' accumulation. Therefore I updated the post, and will be looking for a more direct solution as crossover doesn't seem to be the issue, but the Mac system itself.

Deleting only Crossover doesn't remove its bottles. They're stored in Library/Application Support/Crossover. If the tool doesn't help you can try to remove files manually . There is a guide here.

CrossOver stores its files and configuration data in a hidden Library folder located in your Home folder. To access the Library folder, do the following:

Click on the Finder icon in your dock.
Click on the Go menu in the main menu bar.
Press and hold the Option key on your keyboard.
Select the Library menu item that appears in the Go menu.

Navigate to Users>(home folder)>Library>Application Support and drag the CrossOver folder to the trash.

Navigate to Users>(home folder)>Library>Preferences and drag all the files that start with com.codeweavers to the trash.

Navigate to Users>(home folder)>Applications and delete the CrossOver folder if it exists.
