I recently used Crossover to install Neverwinter Online. I used the Neverwinter .exe file and it appeared to install the launcher and files correctly. I can run the launcher and log on appears to work (but I'm not in game yet), but the options link on the launcher is not bringing up the dialog box and the reason I need this is so I can change a specific option, "Disable on-demand patching". When I click on that link it launches the Crossover web browser and it's just a blank page. I have attached a picture of the Launcher with the "Options" link highlighted and a picture of what the options dialog box should look like when opened. I hope someone can assist me with resolving this, thanks.
Thanks... I matched your config and my issue was resolved and I can play the game, but now I have a new minor issue. The game runs great even on high settings, but my glowy quest path is gone. I toggle it on with Z, and I can see the indicator by the quest, but it does not show up on my screen.
I have the same problem than you. I have searched in all configuration and I have found nothing about this. I go tested from Vmware if I have the same problem.
With Vmware, I can see the indicator by the quest and I see the light to loot some object but I haven't the performance necesary to play correctly. I have a lot of lag.
I must search to optimize my VM beacause I have too much loss of power.
If you have some error Direct3D in neverwinters (see below) because you have a graphic card with 1Go and more.
The solution is activated in graphics settings, check the 'advanced settings' box. Then click on the 'troubleshooting settings', scroll down to the bottom and make sure you have 1024+MB vram selected. That might fix it
