Aliens VS Predator Classic 2000 - Direct 3D Initialisation Error (Steam)

Hi folks, I've got Aliens VS Predator Classic 2000 downloaded in to the Steam Bottle and every time I try to open it, I get this error message:

Direct3d Initialisation Failure.
Please check you have the latest version of DirectX, and the latest drivers for your hardware.

I'd love some help with this please. Also running CrossOver 24 Beta (Happy to change back to 23.x if that will make a difference)
