A Plague Tale Innocence Black skin characters

In A Plague Tale Innocence, all characters skin texture turned black. Any idea how I can fix it? I'm using CrossOver 22.1.1 through Heroic launcher. I tried reinstalling the game, Heroic and Crossover. It didn't work. It worked until some days ago, I have not updated or installed anything before the issue manifested.

Hi there,

That issue should be resolved by enabling DXVK in your bottle. You can find this option in the right sidebar.

Best,
Meredith

Thank you for the help. It worked.

I suspected it was the issue, but I could not enable DXVK on existing bottles. All advanced settings are greyed out and the bottles keep scanning. I can only access advanced settings just after I create a new one, then all settings are greyed out the second time I launch Crossover (after creating a new bottle).

Any specific suggestion for the above cons problem? I tried to remove and add again the z: drive as suggested by a post here, but did not work.

Hi again,

What version of CrossOver are you using? And how was CrossOver working until several days ago, when your account is only two days old?

Best,
Meredith

I've seen this continual "Scanning..." issue after trying to Restore with some versions of CXPatcher. Did you ever use CXPatcher, TS?

Yeah, if you're gonna do that, make sure you use its own separate APPLICATION folder. Keep the different bottle separate so that it doesn't "cross - contaminate " so to speak.

Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.
