I have a number applications that have to be installed manually. I have a large folder of short cuts that I add manually to my start menu on a windows machine to easily access these applications. I am aware of the create launcher capability so I can add them to the Program menu, but I want to know how to just drop my windows shortcuts into the drive_c/users/crossover/start menu folder and have them be detected, but no matter what I do, they don't seem to have an impact on the Program menu, even after clean and rebuild. I have tried the drive_c/users/public start menu folder as well, no dice.
Since Crossover detects application shortcuts creation during installation, I feel there must be some process that can be run to take windows shortcuts and place them in the Program menu. As stated before, I know I can manually create the launchers, but I want to know if there is a better more efficient way of doing this.
Thanks!
