Upgrade to 12.1.0 - problem

This evening I received an email advising that there was an upgrade to 12.1.0. I upgraded using the automatic upgrade on my MacBook Pro running OSX 10.8.2. Unfortunately it wasn't successful as I received an error message as the upgrade was completing and now when trying to start CrossOver Office I get an error message and that is all.
Has anyone else had a similar experience and it so is there a solution?
I would be grateful for any assistance anyone can provide.
