Hi all,
I just upgraded to 12.0.0, and Visio 2003 no longer works. It launches, but if I try to open or save a file, before the file dialog appears it crashes with an error dialog:
Thanks,

Hi Eben,
Could you put in a support ticket on that issue? We'd like to get that into the bug queue.

Is there an update on this bug? I am experiencing the same in Visio 2010. After I open and go to create a new flow it freezes. No error given. I have to foce quit and reopen, but it still freezes.
We haven't been able to reproduce this in-house. I'd guess that Visio has become corrupted by a Crossover update (presuming that you updated an older version of Crossover to 12 and have kept the same Visio install). If you delete the existing Visio bottle:

and then re-install Visio into a new bottle under Crossover 12, do you end up with a stable copy? Or is it still crashing?
all kidding aside, isn't visio 2010 broken natively on windows? it seems like it hasn't been updated by microsoft since the 2003 version, and based on various users experiences at work, nobody can seem to get it to run. sounds to me like visio and publisher are on their last version.
Reinstalling from scratch solved my problem (I was not the original complainer, but the same issue affected me). In both 12.0 and 12.1, Visio 2003 would start but crash when opening a file. In frustration, I completely removed CrossOver, did a new install of 12.1, installed Visio 2003, and that solved my problem. I did not attempt to reinstall Visio prior to completely removing 12.1. FWIW, I'm running on a 27" iMac with lots of memory, disk, and 10.8.2.
One more datapoint. I was able to isolate this to a bottle problem. The bottle with Visio in it had to be deleted after the upgrade and recreated. FWIW, I've run CrossOver for awhile and this is the first time during an upgrade this has happened.
