CrossOver Support - Community Forums

Hello.

I am currently running CrossOver 12.1.2.26862 ov OSX Mavericks, and it works perfectly well, except that everytime I try to start one of my PC games via CrossOver, it shuts down all open bottles, then quits. If I press “cancel” before it is finished, I am able to run the program just fine.

Just now it shut down with no programs open, but I was running a couple of Mac programs in the background. This may suggest that it is due to some sort of overload trigger. I'll admit that my little MacBook heats up quite a lot when I run games with CrossOver, but that is also true with Flash Games. I assumed that running any game just consumed a lot of CPU.

Any help? It's a bit annoying, but not terribly so.

It's because you need at least CrossOver 12.5. We're on CrossOver 13.0.1 right now.
