I've just installed Microsoft Excel Viewer 2007 via the "Install Software…" interface. I have my CrossOver programs folder in the Dock. The icon for Excel Viewer in the Finder is as it should be, but the icon for it in the Dock is the white circle with the line through it. That usually indicates the software is incompatible with the architecture. However, the application actually runs just fine.
I have the same problem with SubRip. I created a launcher via the Run Command… interface, and it too appears just fine in the Finder but with the crossed-through circle in the Dock. Like Excel, it actually launches and runs just fine.
I've already tried "Clear and Re-build Programs Menu", with no success.
Never mind. Somehow, though I did nothing myself, the issue has resolved itself.
