I am unable to install the Crossover for Mac 24.0.1 update on my M2 Mac Mini. (I have 24.0 now.) Error message: "Update Error! The update is improperly signed and could not be validated. Please try again later or contact the app developer." Any thoughts?
Seems like this is related to Sparkle. See for example https://github.com/sparkle-project/Sparkle/discussions/2342 . I also noticed that Sophos (anti-virus) complained about Sparkle, and tried to remove it.
Issue resolved. Added the Sparkle directory to Sophos's "ignore" list, and the update works fine.
