Hi,

To share my experience on playing recently bought Days Gone (GOG version as it is on sale for a few days) on Sonoma on M3 Max laptop under Crossover v24.

The in game experience is good, reaching 30 or 60 fps depending the graphic resolution and details, controller ok, sound ok, so everything would be ok if not a major bug which I am not sure it is from the game or playing it ported.

What is the bug? All cinematic are skipped! Yes you heard well... I tried all variations within Crossover, under Windows 10 or Windows 11, nothing worked.

I see there is a beta report from @TravisLegendZajac which complains only of very low fps on version 23.7 and under Steam.

Anybody else has tried this game is willing to share their experience here?

I also decided to play today and found the same thing. Apparently this is due to the crossover version, which is very sad. I played until 24 and everything was great, good FPS and 0 bugs. Now with the update the same problem, cutscenes are completely missing

I was right, we need to roll back to the previous version. But I forgot that there is a bug when changing the time of day. In general, this is not as critical as the lack of cutscenes

Yes, you are correct.

I managed to play Days Gone (GOG version) under 23.7.1 very well. the cutscenes work well, so as a logical conclusion, the cutscene issue is something which is related to Crossover 24.

Maybe it will be address. I can't report in the beta forum as it is currently closed.
