CrossOver Support - Community Forums

Hello...
I just downloaded the free trial version of Crossover games for mac, and my first installation went very smoothly. Playing the actual game is the problem. When I go to play the game, it says that there is no disk in the disk drive, and that I should insert the original game disk. I have re-installed Titan Quest three times in XP and 2000, all with new bottles. Any help would be appreciated.
Btw, I'm running through an Intel iMac with OSX leopard

So I know that you can't tell me how to bypass the copy protection thing, but what about this...
If I download the game off of Steam, then will the copy protection be bypassed and can I install it using Crossover?

Every indication is that the Steam version works, however you
should ask in the C4 forum for the game to be really sure...;

Ahoy, the Steam Version does indeed work very well. One glitch with MP games, but other than that it works just fine. I haven't tried the DVD that I got. I looked all over for the expansion, found the thing on sale on Steam a while back, and got em both for less than what amazon was selling just the xp for.

Unfortunately, I don't think that you can just email Valve and get them to authenticate the steam version, but the vendor might be able to do something. But don't hold your breath. I tried doing that with both Star Trek, and EVE, and got told sorry no-can-do. Oh well. For those, the Steam and non Steam version work equally well, so I am not really out that much now am I?

Let me know if you need any help. But as for my tactics --

1)Installed Steam via the CXG Softaware Install tool
2)Installed TQ & TQ:IT
3)Played alot TQ:IT
4)Perused to here to comment :P

So literally the Steam version went VERY well for me.
