CrossOver Support - Community Forums

Since Telltale is having a sale I bought all three seasons of Sam & Max. Since season 1 doesn't run natively on the Mac I decided to try Crossover Games since, if it works, I'd be willing to pay the price to be able to play season 1. My problem is that while the demo game runs fine, when I click on "Already paid? Unlock the full game" it goes into limbo and nothing happens. When I click on "Buy it!" it tells me there's a problem with my internet connection (just did it right now), so I'm assuming I need to do something to allow it connect & verify that it's paid for, but I'm clueless as to what it is I need to do.

Hi,

These games will register/activate in Crossover Games 9.1 however that
functionality was broken with the 9.2 release. Likewise I think, if you
install IE7 into normal Crossover (not games) that too often works to get
around this bit -- once the game is registered/activated, you can archive
the Crossover (standard) bottle, and then restore that bottle into Crossover
Games.....

...I don't actually own any of the Sam&Max titles (I have a few of the Wallace
and Gromit titles), but the same software is involved. Btw, you really shouldn't
post this question here -- a better spot would be ;

...or one of the episodic pages ; that way someone who actually has one of these
titles may be able to help you (not all people read the general forums, they only
watch the forum of the game[s] they have)...and for the record, a bug/ticket has
been created about all this, so hopefully it'll be fixed soon for CXG..
