I'm currently getting a Blue ray external drive so that I can play all three formates for my music and video collection and I also like physical media for games. I wanted ask if anyone has tried to get games on optical media like a DVD working through Crossover on Steam or GOG since I believe Crossover should just recognise the DVD as an external drive no? I will try in a couple of days when the drive arrives but I wanted to know if anyone has tested this functionality before hand? (for MacBook Pro)
I think so.
Some time ago I got Firewatch from GOG and installed fine.
