With the Crossover release 21.0.0 finally Microsoft Office 2016 worked finally neatly on my system. Then a few days ago I had this urge to migrate my Linux distro from buster to bullseye. Unfortunately now Crossover is no longer working properly. The opening of applications is taking very long, the windows are drawn nicely and the applications are behaving slowly.
Debian is not as well tested as the derivatives such as Ubuntu, Mint, etc. It simply is not as popular as a Desktop OS (love it on the servers though). Not only that, but 11 shipped after we shipped 21.
Feel free to file a support ticket on this. We can probably provide you with a nightly build if you are interested once we have a fix.
We actually did some internal testing of CrossOver 21 on Debian 11 after it was released and didn't see anything like what you're describing. But do please submit a ticket, and maybe our support staff can figure out what's going wrong for you.
Best,
Meredith
