I just updated from Crossover 6.2 to 7.0 on my Debian Lenny system installed on an HP Compaq nc8430 laptop. I used the .deb package rather than the .tar file. After update, my Office 2000, Explorer, and Media Player installations would not work. I was able to repair the Office installation by reinstalling. It seems to run fine.
However, Explorer will crash rather soon after startup. Usually, I get the dialogue that states "MSIE encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." If I check the option to restart, it will open again, but crash in a similar fashion soon after. Sometimes the crash is with no warning (i.e.: w/o the dialogue).
Windows Media Player gives me the same [crash] dialogue upon startup.
Of course, all of these worked under my previous v6.2
I have tried to reinstall/uninstall/install both to no avail.
I know this is not alot to go on, but I'm hoping someone might be aware of a solution to this problem short of uninstalling and reinstalling everything from scratch.
Sadly, our best recommendation is for you to delete the bottles and re-install everything.
