I downloaded the trial version of Crossover Office to see if everything works before I buy it, and I have run into one problem. Office 2007 installed fine on Ubuntu Hardy x64, but when I try to use the pen tool (because I am using it on a tablet--the HP Pavilion TX2500), it says "OneNote requires Microsoft Windows Tablet PC Edition 2005 with Service Pack 2 in order for inking features to work properly. You can install Service Pack 2 from the Windows product pages on the Microsoft Web site."
I looked around Crossover's config but saw no way of changing the bottle, and it chooses Windows XP automatically when I install it.
What are my options here? Thank you very much for your help
There's no underlying Windows OS to apply a service pack to, and an OS level driver is what's needed to get the pen working, so there isn't anything this SP2 update can apply to and fix.
