I am trying to install an app from a shared network drive (smb://192.168.100.100/apps1)
Steps:
Launch install windows software
pick adobe photshop cs
select other installer file
click browse
In the file name field insert "smb://192.168.100.100/apps1//PhotoshopCS2/setup.exe
Receive a message /home/rayux/smb://192.168.100.100/apps1//PhotoshopCS2/setup.exe does not exist
So my question is How do I create/mount a shared network drive within crossover ?
I read the crossover docs but there was no mention on how to install apps from a network drive.
Created a folder under winxp bottle named winshare
execute the command line:
sudo smbmount //192.168.100.100/d$ /home/rayux/.cxoffice/winxp/drive_c/winshare -o username=winusername,password=winpassword
