CrossOver 15 - can't find "Open Shell" option

After upgrading to CrossOver 15, the "Open Shell" menu option seems to have disappeared. In previous versions of CrossOver it was possible to open an OS X terminal via the "Run Command" dialog box. This would open a Terminal window and set a bunch of environment variables applicable to the bottle. From there you could execute OS X terminal scripts, e.g. use winetricks to install applications that CrossOver doesn't support (such as ie6).

The online help optimistically still refers to the "Open Shell" command but it certainly isn't available in my installation now.

Anyone with any suggestions how to do open a Terminal within a bottle now?

We thought this option was basically never used outside of our office, so it's fairly hidden now. If you hold down the 'option' key while you are viewing the bottle menu (either with the 'gears' icon when a bottle is selected or with the 'Bottle' portion of the menu bar menu) then the 'open shell' option is revealed.

This is the kind of hidden thing that would be appropriate to have in the docs. It's omission from there is just bit-rot, and I should fix it. I'm sorry it was a mystery to you.

But it is still there.

Thanks! Works perfectly now I know where to find the hidden option 😊

I use the Open Shell command all the time when installing and configuring software (why mouse around when typing is so much faster?) and really miss the dialog button. Could you please consider un-hiding this command from its new location in the right-click bottle menu?
