I have MetaTrader 4 running in a bottle within CrossOver. Everything was fine, but I've upgraded to El Capitan. Most everything works. But I need to use 'Contol-Click' to simulate a right mouse click to get various context menus to popup. This was working before the upgrade. I have download the CrossOver update for El Capitan. I have 'Enable keyboard modifiers for mouse buttons' ticked in in the 'CrossOver->X-Window System' preferences. The bottle settings has 'Use Legacy X Window System' selected.
This is a real problem for me. At the moment I cannot change the EA settings on a running EA as I cannot popup the menu. Plus a number of other things. I don't think the 'delete' key is working in some situation either. But it's the control key that is the big issue.
RESOLVED
There is now a 'Secondary click' selection in the Mouse preferences. 😊
Yep, if you enable secondary click in the Mouse pref pane Crossover will pass that through as a right-click to Windows apps. It sure would be handy if Apple enabled that setting by default.
