Hi,
my first contact with CO Linux. ☹️
I'm trying to install Outlook 2000 German, but the installation stops with a German error message saying "Installation ended prematurely because of an error".
When I try to start Outlook after the aborted installation process, it complains about a missing installation of Outlook Express...
What can I do to get Outlook running?
I found some postings here, but nothing that helped...

Are you trying to install Outlook Express, or Outlook (full version)? Outlook Express won't work with Crossover, I'm sorry to say. It requires some different windows elements that aren't yet implemented.
If it's Outlook (full version), this is probably an installer issue that we should be looking at. Could you please send in a detailed email describing the errors to info@codeweavers.com?
I'm trying to install Outlook 2000 full.
I sent a mail with some more details to the above address.

Thanks to Jack's help, I got it working now.
Selecting "Office 2000" and installing to a win98-bottle did it.
