I am running SuSE Linux 10.3 and CrossOver Linux Standard version 7.0.0-7.0.1.
When I connect Outlook through my VPN from home, it never stays connected. It constantly connects and then disconnects and then connects and so on.
I also think this is what is causing my issue with Sending email. My emails will sit in the Outbox and never send, because it says that Outlook is not connected.
When I look in System Monitor, I see like 30 processes of cxntlm_auth. I am assuming this is windows NTLM authentication protocol that is being called over and over again, as a result of the disconnects and re-connects.
I am running Outlook 2007. This does not occur when i am plugged directly into my network at work. It seems to only occur when I am using VPN to connect to my work network. I saw another entry for this type of a problem with a Ticket Number. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the Ticketing system.
Any help is greatly appreciated. This is currently preventing me from using Outlook on my linux box.
I assumed you wanted me to install IE6 in the same bottle as Microsoft Outlook, so last night, I went ahead and did that. Unfortunately, Outlook continues to disconnect and reconnect. After about 10 minutes or so, I will end up with 30 cxntlm_auth processes running.
I appreciate the help and the prompt responses.
Any further suggestions are welcome.
