I have recently tried to re-install an application using Crossover 16.1 that used to install fine in previous Crossover versions. The game needs Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Media player 10 installed to run. In Crossover 16 it stops Internet Explorer 8 install as it says there is a more modern version installed. This then stops the install of Windows Media Player 10 as it needs IE8 installed.
Any ideas as to how I can get Crossover to install IE8? I could use an older version of Crossover, but that is not an ideal solution.
