Can't install Steam

Hello,
I'm new to cross over. However, when installing steam, the installation doesn't work and gets stuck in the middle when installing the fonts.
I don't have any anti-virus activated and I have a mac book pro m3 pro. What should I do?

Any chance your user name ends in a period? If not, what's the exact error that you're getting?
