Have spent the last few days trying out a MacBook Pro 14" M2 10C 16C GPU against my Air M2 13.6" 8C 10GPU. Both have 16GB and 512SSD.
I've been playing:
COD World at War
Crysis Remastered
Halo Reach and CE Anniversary
No Mans Sky
Lego Star Wars Saga
a few other games
I've made sure the bottles all have the same settings, the in game settings I've kept the same overall with trying out various resolutions.
What I've found is that in some games (Halo CE as an example) it's actually getting better FPS. In others (Crysis and COD WAW) I am getting exactly the same FPS (COD is between 30 and 40, Crysis the same). Halo CE is pretty bad across both tbh. Reach is good.
Am I missing something here? Surely those extra cores should be giving me a few more FPS ?
