"explorer.exe" remains (with 100 % CPU load) after exiting an app

After finishsing an APP with Crossover Mac 24 "explorer.exe" remains in Activity Monitor and runs the Mac hot...

This serious issue has been ongoing for 3 months without resolution, and although two minor versions have been released, there has been no response to this serious issue. I will not renew my purchase of their product.

I am having this exact same issue. Unacceptable!

I have to reboot the computer to stop this action. It appears to be when Crossover has been opened and closed several times.
Needs sorting.

Version 24.0.3 came out recently and fixed this. 🙂
