CrossOver Support - Community Forums

Hi all,
I installed Diablo 4 and purchased Vessels of Hatred. AFter install when i clicked on Play, it just goes to Update again. And the game crashes with this error - This application encountered an unexpected error.

This is frustrating, the game wont even launch, just money down the drain if there is no fix to this:(

I read some of the other threads but couldnt tell if there was a fix or workaround.

Anyone have any ideas?

I just tried opening it as I was playing it earlier today. Now my game crashes It just sits there on the login screen with the gates picture up. I wouldn't worry too much about money down the drain D4 is a HUGE game for Crossover and they put a lot of time and energy into making sure this one works. In the past the longest I had to wait for a fix was when a major D4 patch was made and it took them about a month and a week or so. Remember they don't get DEV KITS. they have to work with WINE which is the core of the software basically and write code to get this to work on a system it was never designed to work on.

If they are in the U.S. I'm not sure we have a major holiday coming up on Thursday. But along with everyone else send in an error report to their support department. They are very polite and typically respond same day or the next with what's going on. I'm about to submit a report now that I can't play either.
