I just installed CrossOver professional on my Ubuntu Jaunty install and then installed MS Office 2007. Office works fine but I am having a problem with MS Works. I noticed that after installing Office there were directories that were labeled MS Works in my CrossOver file directorys. I tried to install Works using crossover but it is not listed as a supported application. This I find very odd since there are parts of Works installed by default when you install CrossOver to begin with.
Anyways, I went ahead and installed Works and everything went smoothely until I tried to launch any application that is a part of Works. All the different apps that are a part of Works are now listed in my Windows Software Menu but when I try to launch them it tells me that I need to accept the liscence agreement and that in order to accept it I need to reinstall Works. So when trying to reinstall works in order to accept this agreement and use Works I end up with the same issue. During installation I am never offered the option of accepting the agreement and so therefore I cannot launch any Works apps after there installed.
I only need to be able to use the handy little Dictionary application that is included with Works so this is alot of nonsense for one app but anyways.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem? It seems odd to me that everything would install fine and be available to launch but I cannot launch them due to not being able to accept the agreement.
Especially since Works or at least parts of it are installed by default in CrossOver.
Any help would be great
