Hello, I just downloaded the trial for CrossOver Linux but when I tried installing an application CrossOver claims my trial has expired and won't let me install, even though I just downloaded it today..
Odd - normally that would mean that you've installed a trial of Crossover on your machine at some point in the distant past and didn't fully remove it. In any case, you'll want to totally remove this current trial, and the installer, and download a new one. Depending on how you installed, use:
$ sudo /opt/cxoffice/bin/cxuninstall (if you installed with the .deb/.rpm)
or
$ sudo ~/cxoffice/bin/cxuninstall (if you installed with the .sh)
Choose to delete everything, including your bottles, and then check to make sure that the /opt/cxoffice, ~/cxoffice, and ~/.cxoffice directories are all deleted prior to installing the trial again.
