I just updated Crossover to version 18 and now Quicken 2016 will not boot up.
Codeweavers is aware of this and will be releasing and update next month. It seems they have resolved the issue for Quicken 2017 atleast and are working on other bugs before they release the update.

CrossOver 18.1 was released today and includes a bug fix for users who were seeing Quicken 2016 - 2018 launch failures on macOS.
