known bug in v9 "JVM is now crashing IE6"

Staff member Jack Phinney on 2010-03-09 referred to "JVM is now crashing IE6" being a known bug in v9 in support ticket 787948, advising to downgrade to v8, instead.

Searching this site, I found no further information about this bug and it's current state. Could anybody out there give me an update?

The Installing the Java runtime Environment in Internet Explorer 6 advice from the Support Library still does not mention this bug. Has it been solved in the meantime?

The JVM should successfully install in IE6 when using a fresh install of Crossover 9.0.1. This was broken in Crossover 9.0.0. The wiki page has been adjusted.
