Hi,
Possibly one of the installation processes has hung, and you
would need to manually kill that process...ie; kill -9 <pid>
(where <pid> is the process id)...what program do you speak of?
Cheers!
You shouldn't normally have to reboot your system. If an installer, itself, reports that a reboot is necessary and offers to do so, you should just click on the "reboot now" (or what have you) button that's offered, and Crossover will simulate the reboot. If a process is hung, or something like that, the first thing to do is go into Manage Bottles and quit the bottle that's being used. If this is unsuccessful, open up a task manager/Activity monitor and kill the wineservers and wineloaders that you find.
