I am contemplating upgrading to the beta of Ubuntu 10. When I upgrade the OS, is there any considerations I should be aware of as far as CrossOver breaking or requiring a reinstall?

In the brief time that I used it, I had problems with PNG support. That means that any app that relies on Windows to load PNG files, even internally, would not work. I'm not sure if that will affect you, since it may have been a build problem and not a runtime problem, or it may have been fixed since then.
I ended up reinstalling 9.10 because of this and because they moved the close button (see http://yokozar.org/blog/archives/194). This also may not be a problem for you, as I read later that it's possible to restore the normal order using a gconf setting.
It's very unlikely that an OS upgrade would break any of your bottles. Still, it can't hurt to archive them, just in case.
