Hi, I've just downloaded the Trial Version of Crossover Linux. Before posting, I searched in this forum but I didn't find teh answer to my problem.
I'd like to run Cockos Reaper (an audio sequencer/DAW) on Ubuntu 10.10.
The program runs very good, but I have to choose "Directsound" as sound driver. It plays and records, but the latency when recording is well over 1 second. In XP, I usually use ASIO (ASIO4ALL) drivers, and I can record with (virtually) zero latency
I've tried to install ASIO4ALL with no success in Crossover. Does it emulate ASIO drivers? Or any way to use Reaper with much less latency?
I have no experience with ASIO sorry, which is why I suggested
you ask such questions in the forum where people who have/use/know
about such ASIO things can help you - I am just a marshaller of
links and forum threads ; I keep mental notes and pass then on
to people like yourself B^)
Cheers!
