I've been playing Half Life 2 for several weeks with Wine. Then a few days ago it doesn't launch anymore, just get preparing to launch then that message closes and right back the Steam Library. So I reinstalled going through the Wine howto. Still same problem. Then I thought Codeweavers is great company, why don't I install with their Crossover Games. So I got the 7 day trial of Crossover 10, and guess what same problem. I'm putting the blame on Steam, with their crappy nonstandard web app game thingie. Anyways does Codeweavers have a update in the works for Steam's crappy update?
