I'm new to using CrossOver and completely unfamiliar with available settings tweaks. I am attempting to run the game "Othercide" on Steam and it loads the main screen with a bright pink background, and then the cutscenes are blank but play the audio and allow you to click and skip. Once the tutorial loads, the game seems to function properly but is almost completely black. I adjusted all the in-game settings with no changes.
I'm on a 2020 MacBook Pro M1, 16GB, running Big Sur 11.2.3 and the game released about a year ago.
I was able to get this game running just fine on my m1 machine by enabling DXVK. To do this, right click on the bottle you installed the game in (I used a win7 64-bit bottle), go to settings, and select "DXVK Backend for D3D11." When it is checked, you can restart Steam.
