I am using software in order to secure sign a PDF document.
The digital siganture is based upon a smart card hardware and a certificate which needs to be installed, in order to enable the secured digital signature.
I was trying CrossOver for the first time, and wondering if there is any method to allow Crossover to identify & use a smartcard connected to my Mac?
That would need to be rebased to wine-6.0 then additional changes to account for 32on64, that’s the worst part.
I’d recently rebased https://github.com/UweBonnes/wine/tree/stlink to wine-6.4, after they i was told they ran macOS Big Sur and the application was 32Bit......, yeah not dealing with 32on64 unless I have physical access to something that requires that kind of work.
You can’t make that work, CodeWeavers would need to rebase (change it to work with current CrossOver sources) and then modify it to function in wine32on64.
Unless there’s a specific client that requires this feature and is willing to pay for it I don’t see this happening.
Please Note: This Forum is for non-application specific questions relating to installation/configuration of CrossOver. All application-specific posts to this Forum will be moved to their appropriate Compatibility Center Forum.
